Entry fees:

Since all film festivals have an operating cost, we need to charge an entry fee. We urge you to use the early bird discount. For fees and Charges please see Filmfreeway or Festhome for submitting a film to the festival. All the films are to be submitted digitally Only through Vimeo Links or any other private links.

Dates and Venues

Pink Love LGBQA+ Online International Film Festival is a premier new age film festival that is completely ONLINE. It is your chance to get your film into the Film Festival and be a part of the competition and digital screenings.

We are seeking entries from film-makers across formats and genres. Your film will be assessed on narrative structure, cinematography, and post-production techniques.

PINK LOVE Film Festival will take place in AUGUST 2022. Shortlisted Films shall be communicated via Filmfreeway or Festhome. The results will be announced digitally.

Competition

Entries will be assessed and successful submission will be programmed for screening and enter the Festival competition. If your film is selected we reserve the right to show your film on our digital platform for the period of the festival.

Formats & Entry Charges

For the selection process, a private link in Mp4 HD with a minimum 1K resolution format video is to be shared. The final date for submissions is as communicated on Freeway/Festhome website. The film may be shot in any format. However, we recommend 16:9 / 16:9 Full Height Anamorphic -HD. 

Selection

You must have completed the work no earlier than three years preceding the date of the submission deadline. 

Screening

The Digital Screening schedule will be announced after the final submission deadline. We require permission to screen the film on our platform for at least 1 month. Either a Festival Jury or People Choice poll votes will select the final award-winning entry. 

Clearance & copyrights

All entries must obtain the appropriate copyright clearances (i.e. music, images, etc). Failure to do so will result in the entry being disqualified from the competition. You will need to submit the attached form with details and indemnifying the organizer The Filmy Monks LLP from disputes if any.

The publicity

we reserve the right to use extracts from submissions for festival publicity and marketing purposes, before, during, and after the PINK LOVE Film Festival. You will be required to provide: press materials, high res stills from the film, poster, promo reel or trailer (in HD if available), filmography/biography, and a headshot/photograph of the Director.

Content Categories

PINK LOVE film festival is open for Short Films, Features, Documentaries and Web Series. The content must adhere to the theme and can belong to any genre.

Judging Criteria

We are looking for original, creative, and high quality moving image production. Your film will be assessed on narrative structure, cinematography, and post-production techniques.

If your film is selected for the Festival, you will have the opportunity to screen your work on an international platform. PINK LOVE Film Festival will promote your film through its social media. However, to maximize your film's success, it would be helpful if you also generate hype and interest in your project. Please be sure to avoid misrepresentation of the PINK LOVE Film Festival in your marketing.

Disclaimer

All decisions are reserved by PINK LOVE LGBTQ+ Online Film Festival Organisers i.e The Filmy Monks LLP and they will stand all binding. Any disputes with respect of any matter relating to the PINK LOVE FF shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai, India courts.

Each project category that demonstrates outstanding craftsmanship, storytelling, and technical achievement will receive the PINK LOVE FILM Award. Official Selections are viewed by our team of judges.
